[UPDATE]Luna Maya Sex Scandal

LUNA Maya's reversal of fortune following the celebrity sex video scandal she was swept up in mid-year was swift and merciless.

Literally overnight, she lost advertising endorsements, TV appearances and, not least, her good reputation, all due to grainy footage purportedly showing her with boyfriend Nazril Irham, better known as Ariel Peterpan.

Before the scandal broke, Luna seemed to be everywhere as a sought-after advertising spokeswoman and the host of Dahsyat, one of the most popular weekday morning pop music TV shows - and reportedly one of entertainment's highest paid performers.

Since June's frenzy of publicity, she has been conspicuously absent from the airwaves, save for the occasional infotainment update on her visits to Ariel, now in police custody.

The 27-year-old denies she was laid low by depression or lying low out of fear - she's simply been taking some time out.

"I've haven't been anywhere, I've been here at home in Jakarta and Bali," says Luna, who grew up on the resort island, the daughter of an Indonesian father and Austrian mother. "Some parties didn't renew my contracts or severed them, so that may have given that impression. But I was still around."

She was also dealing with the continuing and complicated legal entanglements (Ariel, who also allegedly appeared in another video with TV show presenter Cut Tari, is currently detained in Bandung on charges of distribution of pornographic materials; Luna is required to make regular reports to the police).

Gradually, though, she is returning to the entertainment scene.

There is her new single, "Tak Bisa Bersamamu" (Can't Be With You), seemingly a poignant testimonial to her relationship with Ariel today. And she was on the cover of women's lifestyle magazine Clara in November.

On a cloudy Islamic New Year's Day, she is back making a TV series at a golf course in East Jakarta.

It may seem a risk for the production house to bank on using this now tarnished star to draw viewers, especially among a judgmental public not likely to quickly forgive or forget.

In person, she still draws attention - for whatever reason.

After slipping through the club lobby almost unnoticed in dark glasses and leggings to the hair and makeup room, she emerges an hour later in heels, blouse and pencil skirt, an undeniably pretty young woman.

The club's cook gestures to get her attention as she walks by.

A portly middle-aged man, sitting contentedly with his posse in a corner, requests a photo with her. "A bit later," Luna says politely as she moves on.

[MISTAKE] Breast Remover Housewife got $42K FREE

IPOH: A housewife, who had her left breast removed by mistake, has reached an out-of-court settlement against the Government.

T. Silvarany, 56, agreed to a settlement of RM100,000 (S$42,150) in a RM2mil suit filed against Dr L. Vasu Pillai, the Raja Permaisuri Bainun hospital director, the Health Minister and the Government in 2008.

Judicial Commissioner Tarmizi Abd Rahman recorded the matter at the Ipoh High Court on Monday.

In her statement of claim, Silvarany said she had sought treatment for a stomach ailment in 2005, which was later diagnosed as a fibroid.

While the fibroid was removed, a biopsy on a lump in her breast found it (the lump) to be cancerous.

The mother of two was subsequently re-admitted on Sept 6 2005 where an operation to remove her breast was carried out on Sept 7.

"It was during a follow-up treatment where the hospital's specialist told me the operation to remove my breast was a mistake and I was not suffering from cancer," she said in her statement.

"I am satisfied with the amount," Silvarany said when asked if she was happy with the settlement.

Senior Federal Counsel Khairul Fazley Kamarudin appeared for the Government.

[SHOCKING]The NEW 13th Sign of the Zodiac, Ophiuchus

Ophiuchus is a large constellation located around the celestial equator. Its name is Greek (Ὀφιοῦχος) for 'serpent-bearer', and it is commonly represented as a man grasping the snake that is represented by the constellation Serpens. Ophiuchus was one of the 48 constellations listed by the second-century astronomer Ptolemy, and it remains one of the 88 modern constellations. It was formerly referred to as Serpentarius English pronunciation: /ˌsɜrpənˈtɛəriəs/, a Latin word meaning the same as its current name.

Ophiuchus Traits
Traits peculiar to an Ophiuchus is something all those who have a birth date between Nov. 29 and Dec. 17, are looking to find out about. It would seem that 31% of Americans believe that their astrological sign has an influence on their personality.

Ophiuchus is a rarely used astrological sign, not included in most versions of the Zodiac. It is also known as Serpentarius. The Sun passes through the eponymous constellation between November 29 and December 17.

In Mythology Ophiuchus is identified with the healer Asclepius, son of Apollo, who became so skilled that he brought the dead back to life. Hades later convinced Zeus to kill Asclepius with a lightning bolt. After he died he was then placed in the stars as a constellation.

Onto the traits that are peculiar to an Ophiuchus;

An Interpreter of dreams, who attracts good luck and fruitful blessings. Holds lofty ideals and is a seeker of peace and harmony. Inventive in nature, with expanding qualities. will often seek higher education and wisdom and can end up as an overseer, or supervisor of work. Can rise to fame – either grand, or completely misunderstood. Tends to enjoy longevity and has aspirations of healing the ills of man.

Will reach for the stars, figuratively and literally. For many a large family is indicated, but apt to be separated from them when young. The number twelve holds great significance. Has foresight and good fortune to benefit from hard times. Has secret enemies in family or close associations, with many jealous of this subject.

Often thought of as apple of father’s eye when young. High position in life expected [depending on aspects]. Highest fame and legend often does not come until after death. In general can be wise, even a genius mentality. Likes to wear clothing of vibrant colors, and plaids in particular and often receives the favor of those in authority.
