Your Daily Necessities are killing you slowly.

The Story of Cosmetics, released on July 21st, 2010, examines the pervasive use of toxic chemicals in our everyday personal care products, from lipstick to baby shampoo. Produced with Free Range Studios and hosted by Annie Leonard, the seven-minute film by The Story of Stuff Project reveals the implications for consumer and worker health and the environment, and outlines ways we can move the industry away from hazardous chemicals and towards safer alternatives. The film concludes with a call for viewers to support legislation aimed at ensuring the safety of cosmetics and personal care products.

From youtube...

  • @thekraken23 An allergic reaction is the body's natural way of eliminating toxins and viruses from the body. I don't want to scare anyone into thinking a certain way. I am simply stating my own personal experiences. I am happy, healthier and less stressed than I was using these mainstream personal care products. WebMD is a reliable source for information and they do recommend that you shy away from certain things, such as parabens.

  • @chrisswiss83 what about the lead is unavoidable don't you understand, there is lead in the air you breath you fucking moron

  • even if unsubstantiated my recommendations will save you a ton of money over time and not one is expensive, unless you can afford the calcium bentonite clay, I also gave a free substitute. as I have found, the Lord has already provided us with inexpensive or free solutions in which modern science and economic reasons have attempted to substitute and improve upon to no avail.

  • @SavetheplanetAG no it's true. cadavers today have 400 times the lead from cadavers from the turn of the century. If you can afford calcium bentonite clay get it and take hot baths after excersice. otherwise any kind of clay will work although not as effective. you will notice that you can test higher in standard iq tests afterwards.

  • @thekraken23 Here's some reading comprehension back at you: I'm not ignoring this fact and I never was. I'm not sure why you're even assuming this. I'm glad other people are safe as well despite having a higher exposure to lead, etc. That's very nice. My position is really fucking simple though: no lead is the best amount of lead in anything that lead shouldn't be in. That's it. That's all I'm saying! How is this so hard? Is that a bad position? Should I want more lead?

  • I use ivory soap for washing my hair, and corn starch, baking soda, and coconut oil for deodorant, and hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, and salt for my toothpaste. and most showers only wash pits and groin, once weekly or when not got sun for 2 days or after a hot clay bath do I do a straight a full body soapy shower. I also do slow chelation with nuts, cillantro, lemons, and chew wheatgrass, ingest activated charcoal. but the clay baths are needed otherwise the bile will redeposit the metals.

  • @thekraken23 You're right. I can't believe I'm the one who keeps smearing you, oh wise truth-sayer. I keep bringing up how you can't read, you're not thinking critically, you don't care about important things like war and poverty, how you don't think for yourself, and how you deny outright facts that you didn't even bring up. Oh wait, I'm confusing me for you.

  • @smexytbone Lol i cant take u 4 serious after i watched ur Profile! face it girl, im right with what i sayd. Girls play Barbie and dream of get Ken into theyr bed and have a Family with this dickless Loser. Use make up if u dont accept ur naturelylook, but dont accuse the chemical assholes for use cheap ingredients, specially Poison, for make u intentionally ill. So they can earn more money. Become an strong adult, then u will recognize its not ur Job make Men Horny on u.btw i never watch porn

  • Utter BS. This is the same logic Hitler employed in creating his support. Stand up people. Understand that this woman is likely being funded by a bunch of attorneys that stand to make billions off this arguement

  • @Elfkinator Fact high stress levels are linked to cancer and illness more than every product on the market.
