The man, who teachers self-defence to girls, was charged in court.
The daily said the man faces a jail term of between eight and 20 years and caning.

According to a Straits Times report on Thursday, the 41-year-old married father of two, a martial arts instructor had SMSed the girl asking the 13-year-old to be his girlfriend on Feb 20, 2007, during Chinese New Year. She and other trainees from school had visited the instructor's home earlier that day.
The girl agreed and they called each other "lao gong" (husband in Mandarin), and "lao po" (wife). It was reported that they even went to a temple to solemnise their "marriage".
A week after she agreed to be his girlfriend, he allegedly drove her to a beach where he hugged and kisser her. In March 2007, he drove her to a quiet spot in Changi, where they had sex for the first time.
It emerged during investigations that he was not her first sexual partner. The girl told a school counsellor she had had relationships with three boys and had six with one of them. She was also seeing two other teenage boys on the side while with the instructor.
